Michael Sr.
Bio:
Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Michael was exposed to and interested in race cars from a young age. His uncle was famous Offy Midget racer Vito Calia, and a ride in Uncle Vito's race car solidified Michael's love of automobiles.

Michael worked for Luigi Chinetti and the N.A.R.T. racing team for 4 years in the early 1970s, learning from some of the best Ferrari mechanics in the world.

After leaving Ferrari, Michael started racing professional Motocross and working at a bike shop. He was most successful with KTM, Yamaha, and CZ in the 125cc and Open classes.

After working at a high-end road car shop for a number of years, Michael founded Michael's Vintage Racing in the early 1990s.  Since then, he has become one of the most respected and popular members of the pit. His encyclopedic knowledge of all types of vintage cars is hard to match and pairs well with his years of experience in mechanical work.

Michael has lost count of the number of vintage race car restorations he's completed, but almost all of them are still on the track today!
